Actually I've moved to using:

gimp -n --no-data -b '(gimp-message-handler-set 1)'

as my "simple script" bench mark, found 1.0.4 in batch a tad unstable to
deploy stuff - the above worked on one redhat6.1 box, but not another. (they
would've had different X11 config's, I'm speculating that's the cause)
