I'm happy to announce the relesae of git-buildpackage 0.9.0~exp0:

The main change is the switch to python3.

The package is available via Debian experimental:

I haven't updated pypi yet since I first want things to stabilize a
bit. Pypi will be updated with the first upload to Debian unstable. Note
that the 0.8.x series will continue to support Python 2 and will receive
bug fix updates if necessary.
Please give the version a try, especially when using it for rpm
packaging.
