ok, i checked the tar ball, it is a perl script. but the installation guide said it needs to run make gitweb/gitweb.cgi to have it installed. i do not have a linux environment, and i do not know what the 'make' would do with that perl script. if the make only copy the files to their destination, i think i can skip this step. can you help me?
