Say I have this:

# On branch master
# Changes to be committed:
# (use "git reset HEAD <file>..." to unstage)
# modified: foo
# Changed but not updated:
# (use "git add <file>..." to update what will be committed)
# (use "git checkout -- <file>..." to discard changes in working
# modified: bar

Now I want to drop all changes not yet in the index, i.e. "bar".

The only way I can find at the moment is to stash with --keep-index, and
then clear the stash.

Any more elegant way of doing this?
