Git for Windows comes with two GUI tools available right away -- they
are `git gui` for staging/committing/branching/pushing/fetching
and `gitk` for viewing the commit log.

They are OK for most of the tasks, but the overall quality of the user
experience they provide might be suboptimal. A good free tool
providing more smooth user experience is Git Extensions [1].
There's also the TortoiseGit tool [2] but I *heard* (not checked
myself) that it tries to make you work with Git as you would with
Subversion which appears to be quite a lame approach to me.
Study them and make your pick.

Some people reported their satisfaction with using a commercial
tool SmartGit.
