I'm running git 1.8.0. Applying git-fast-export on https://github.com/objectx/fast-export-test , the output is https://gist.github.com/3992423, it contains double-quoted pathes.
I think this is conflicted the description in http://git-scm.com/docs/git-fast-import . A <path> string must use UNIX-style directory separators (forward slash /), may contain any byte other than LF, and *must not start with double quote (* *"**)*. Manual v.s. Executable: Which is correct? Regards. --
