Slight goof in the previous message.

Said:

# Now I want to commit!
git fetch #get any updates in the bare repo.
git checkout master #switch to the master branch
git merge  my-name #merge in my changes into master

Meant:

# Now I want to commit!
git checkout master #switch to master branch
git pull #get any updates in the bare repo.
git merge  my-name #merge in my changes into master

Needed to checkout/pull, not fetch/checkout. I shouldn't do thing off the 
top of my head. It no longer has much hair to slow things down, just slips 
off without hinderance. <grin/>
