This list is for helping newbies using Git.  Bug reports should be sent
to the main Git list (which is git at vger.kernel.org [1]), and bug
reports specific to Git for Windows should be sent to its own list [2].

By the way, does plink also hang if you use plain Git on the server
side (that is, no Gerrit)?  I have no idea if fetching involves Gerrit
in any way, but it would be useful to frame out anything which might
affect the case.
