Thanks Magnus and everyone, I think you are right that I need a backup
program for this one directory tree. The only issue that goes beyond a
simple backup program is that I need to sync different computers, but some
backup programs do that over the net. I already subscribe to Jungle Disk,
for instance for backups on my main computer. I feel hesitant to trust its
sync feature because it will remove old data without asking for
confirmation, but I guess I should go ahead and trust it and enjoy the
automation.
