With an interactive rebase. $ git rebase --interactive "commit HASH to remove"^ # note the ^ character
In the rebase TODO list, remove the commit(s) you don’t need, save and exit. If the commit is really old (in term of new commits, not necessarily time), there may be merge conflicts, so be prepared!
