It would seem like the locking issue is occurring for the creation of
work-trees - using the latest release - Git-2.16.0.2-64-bit.exe.

When trying to perform the 'add' (/creation) of a new 'worktree', it
creates the files (& folder) successfully, but for the files it complains
that it can't 'stat' the them & for the (first) folder it can't 'unlink' it
(- and exits upon the first folder failure, it seems to continue for the
errors upon files).

I've reverted back to this version - 'Git-2.15.1.2-64-bit.exe', taken from
the 'release' - https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases, and it
works fine (at least for creating worktrees).

(My machine is a x64 1709/'Anniversary Update' install of Windows 10 Pro.)
