Hello, we have some checkins that happen as part of our automated workflow. We've been using a deploy key that a human user created in github for these checkins, but the concern is that once this personal account is gone(a person leaves a company, etc) the key is going to go with it, or needs to be transferred, etc. We'd like to either create an account for an automated user or use some other way to enable persistent check ins not tied to any individual accounts.
Is there a best practice for this? Thank you! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Git for human beings" group.
