Dear list, I started using git-lfs three days ago. I used it for a couple of repositories in “GitLab”.
I only used "git lfs track '*-presentation.swf'" and "git add .gitattributes". It worked fine in both repos, although I experienced being asked for my username (when the repo url contains it [http://usern...@gitlab.com/username/repo.git]). For some reason unknown to me, I had to give my password three times (besides being asked for my username betweeen the second and the third password-prompting). I realized that I had to run "git lfs install". I run the command and I added some LFS files in other repository. I commited them (with other changes in the page to be generated by Jekyll) and I cannot push the commit. I’m asked four times for the password and I get the complete message: $ git push WARNING: Authentication error: Authentication required: Access forbidden. Check your access level. batch response: Access forbidden. Check your access level. error: failed to push some refs to 'https://.... Does anyone know what I might do push that commit? I guess I might have to "git lfs uninstall", but I wonder whether this might block that commit in that repo.
