[1] lists a single person as an owner. Probably you could contact them directly and ask? I would think that we could also extend the number of "admins" of this lists, if Google Groups support such a thing, and the owner would agree. I, for one, would welcome you and Philip to have this role ;-) (In the meantime, I dutifully mark all this crap as spam through the web interface which I do not use otherwise. Dunno if these things are related or not but git-for-windows list also gets spammed, though in lower volumes.)
