Just as i expect any other dependency needed if missing i would expect it to crash and fail fast. The same being if i have depedency resolution picking the wrong version again i would want it to fail if the version isnt compatible (typically the issue is bringing in older version with missing classes) I wouldnt want it to silently carry on and in hope i spot a log line to notice.
