I'd like to have this pr merged in order to use it in my net core app. If you look up and see the `Thread.Abort` comment from @rasitha1, I think that's an open issue still and causing too-many handles to be opened and not closed. Also, this project isn't multitargeted down to .net 4.0, .net 4.5 like some of the other projects, which I know the team has asked for. I really got bogged down trying to get the tests running so any assistance would greatly be appreciated.
