I've cleanup machines and performed some tests (again) with the previous version of this PR vs last commit, without getting any evident regressions. I need to cleanup the exclusive executor impl putting it into a separate package (+ some tests) and we're ready to go: in the best case this PR is delivering a nice speedup in both throughput and latencies but the most noticeable benefit come from CPU usage, 30% less under mild load for backup. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
