Review comment:
       Thank you for the detailed explanation. Your explanation makes perfect 
sense to me when the REMOTE data source is hive (i.e.) when the connector has 
been created for another hive instance. In this case, managedlocation does not 
make sense since the location is actually managed by another hive instance.
   
   However, when you create a connector to a MySQL server and create a remote 
table (or database) using this connector, how is it different from creating an 
external table pointing to a MySQL Table, in a MySQL server?
