@zabetak As I remember the upgrade to 3.4.0 was made to fix some issue, I think @difin can share more on that. Im currently working on fixing those test on the Kafka storage handler side, The reason why I think this upgrade make sense because it makes more sense to fix the issues on the latest version rather than 3.4.0. In case we want to downgrade, I feel this PR can be the channel for that discussion as well. @difin can you please share more context on the previous upgrade.
