Yes the plan was to wire it up in a followup, ref discussion following https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/20135#issuecomment-4453908150. @AdamGS is working on it. TLDR: it may not be trivial to hook up and get all cases working, but this low level implementation seems like it would likely work for any eventual front end implementation and it unblocks @mbutrovich -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
