I am a bit hesitant into accepting a solution that involves a new dependency, especially given that we don't see gains yet in the non-micro benchmarkmarks. Perhaps we can wait and see whether after https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/22652 this improves performance on TPC-H TPC-DS ?
