Ah! That's it!!!!!! It was the font. This happens when you work on a Mac most of the time. When on Windows, it is easy to forget, that you need to select yourself a suitable font.... At least we now know, that the crashes and the font problem were not related. BTW, until now, I didn't experience any crash with Geany 1.26 yet. Hope this issue will be gone with the new version ...
