We should add the command to build without showing GLib deprecation warnings to the HACKING file and maybe the build system. IIRC it's something like `./configure CFLAGS="-DGLIB_DISABLE_DEPRECATION_WARNINGS"`. Assuming it won't hide our API deprecations.
