OK, although I just looked at your [`.travis.yml`](https://github.com/geany/geany/blob/master/.travis.yml) file and as it builds your source code on Ubuntu already I suspect it might be possible to turn that into an AppImage with minimal effort. @probonopd what do you think? If probonopd could explain how to do this to me I'd be willing to take care of this for yas. Like through a pull request. I'd love to eliminate the need of effort on the part of the Geany development team in order to get this done.
