This is not changing the font size, it is zooming in and out. It therefore only applies to the current window. To change the font size use `View->Change Font Size`. Ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom the current tab only is standard behaviour, try it in your browser. Whilst its appreciated that you try to provide implementation suggestions, its probably better to read the code first to provide more targeted ones.
