@VictorelPetrovich yeah, my rant was aimed squarely at the newer GtkFontChooser. GtkFontSelection is decent enough.
@elextr GtkFontSelection is available in GTK+3 as well, IIRC it's still used in some parts of Geany even in GTK+ 3 (prefs dialog font buttons). It also provides access to the individual widgets so they could trivially be disabled to solve the issue with Geany not supporting font properties normally.
