If there is a text present (even a simple space) between the TYPE keyword and the first declared type.
I have also tried to type a very simple pascal program directly in Geany editor, by also putting a space in the line after the TYPE keyword and before the first type declaration. The moment i saved it as a PAS file, Geany crashed. I tested this behaviour with Geany 1.25 from another PC and it works ok.
