The solution is the same as [this](https://github.com/geany/geany/issues/2105#issuecomment-478385284), and its not clear that your repeat of it and change to .profile applys only to Ubuntu 20.04. In fact which is the best place to put it depends on which distro and which shell is being used.
What do you mean by "Draft component"?
