@ all affected users: Do you have Geany-Plugins installed? If so, try uninstalling Geany-Plugins and try again.
If Geany still crashes on startup, please uninstall Geany and try this installer: http://download.geany.org/snapshots/geany-1.37_setup-2.exe It is exactly the same code as in the 1.37 release but with updated GTK runtime libraries.
