@eht16 perhaps the native dialogs should use the [GTK3 approved](https://docs.gtk.org/gtk3/class.FileChooserNative.html#typical-usage-gtkfilechoosernative-typical-usage) way of running them instead of direct calls to the Win32 API which probably is doing something GTK doesn't understand.
