Alt does work, but actually it seems out prefs dialog basically only has them
for the *Editor → Indentation* tab, so ignore this for now.
As for whether it's useful or not… certainly less than in menus or buttons
indeed, but so assistive technologies can report accessors of this kind which
help some people. Likely just a tiny bonus in this case though, but it's not
too hard for us to do (although now that I see it's basically not done, it'd
affect a lot of translations…).
