I can, but did when you seemed to have contributed significant part of the merged result. Either way is a bit weird, crediting only somebody with things they didn't do the most part of, or crediting one of the main developers although we don't usually do so… as you (or others) prefer. OTOH the other author got the ball rolling even when the code got modified fairly heavily I guess.
