b4n left a comment (geany/geany-plugins#1458) @techee when saying to leave it I meant not add my 2 commits 😄 but the last one is fine, and theoretical improvement, although again it doesn't seem to really work. The reordering is not useful if it's not squashed, all it helps is the overall diff of this PR, so if it's too much trouble you can simply drop it altogether.
