advice2020 left a comment (geany/geany-plugins#1478) @Skif-off No it does make sense, it performs exactly like how the other scripts you have created do, where if text is selected it gets applied to that selection and if nothing is selected it applies to the entire document, which that is how I typically would want any scripts to function. Hopefully that did not come off wrong, I meant more that in this case, myself and I would assume other users might not have much of a use for the entire document functionality. I did not think about this when making the original request for this, you gave me exactly what I asked for. In this case/script, after I realized it though I was just trying to think of maybe some kind of other functionality that maybe could replace the entire document functionality in that script. Which is why I came up with the caret based request, because that is what is seen/used when no text is currently selected.
