3-14152898 left a comment (geany/geany#3969) I can confirm this. I too am running Geany under Manjaro and `.xsession-errors literally is flooded with those messages. About 12MB of just that in one or two weeks of continuous usage. Changing icon theme (unsure if that's a problem) didn't change anything. Haven't yet tried version 2.1 yet due to some other blocking issues.
