rovf-gh created an issue (geany/geany-osx#59) I suggest a new feature with the following properties:
In the "Open" dialogue there would be a check box "open in view mode". When checked, the file can not be modified by Geany (however, the file *can* be modified by other application. Geany does NOT set it to read-only). If the same file is opened several times in view mode, Geany opens a new tab for the file every time. This allows to "see" several parts of a large file at the same time. This feature would facilitate the use of Geany to view a file (i.e. use syntax highlighting etc), but we can't accidentally change it. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/geany/geany-osx/issues/59 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
