JustinWebDev created an issue (geany/geany#4497) Geany 2.1 x64, Windows 10, 64GB RAM, Ryzen 7 Geany Preferences are defaults.
Opening a large file, like a 1GB JSON file takes 4+ minutes and 5GB RAM. RJ TextEdit will open it in a few seconds, just as a data point. If I turn off Line Wrapping (on by default), it takes <2 minutes.
