@b4n Thank you for the solution. I think that it is what I was looking for. I mentioned your solution to the developer of the plugin. >[...], why do you need to know? For the plugin I suggested to add a shortcut for toggling between editor&sidebar-view and only-sidebar-view (so, sidebar has 100% width, what means that the editor is still enabled but not visible). With some code there should be the possibility to change the splitter position (so, the vertical line between editor and sidebar). Because sidebar can be placed on the left side or on the right side, to set the splitter on the correct side (so, completely on the left side or completely on the right side) requires to know if sidebar is located on the left side or on the right side.
