techee left a comment (geany/geany-osx#60) By the way, I'm not sure if it's an option for you, but you can swap the Ctrl and Command buttons on macOS under Settings->Keyboard->Keyboard shortcuts->Modifier keys. This is what I do by the way and have "normal" Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, etc. However, this means that all other shortcuts that are accessible through the Command modifier are re-mapped to Ctrl and it may not be what you wish.
