@kou I pushed some changes which optimistically re-enable building of AWS C++ sdk from source. @pitrou As said before, I'm not super familiar with conda but a cursory glance at the docs implies it [might be possible to build wheels from conda](https://docs.conda.io/projects/conda-build/en/latest/resources/define-metadata.html?highlight=wheel#output-type)?
