It's a good idea, but the reality of the GitHub Actions runners is likely to make the results very hard to interpret - the runners are not very well isolated from each other and have very limited resources available to them. There was some discussion about using buildkite and the benchmark plumbing used by other arrow projects, but I've not had time to look into it yet -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
