@nealrichardson @jonkeane @kszucs This is now ready for re-review (the [run above](https://github.com/ursacomputing/crossbow/actions?query=branch:actions-f042596390-github-r-nightly-packages) was successful except for the fedora build due to some fedora mirror issue). I have addressed all requests (except renaming the template[^1] ) and made it usable on PRs by using artifact upload and local dirs as a cran-like repository. Using it from a fork will also modify the git URL within the autobrew formula to make building the mac binaries possible.
