One observation: the fully bundled Linux build (`R / rhub/debian-gcc-devel:latest`) seems to be 10-15 minutes slower with ARROW_GCS=ON. We may want to reconsider turning ARROW_GCS=ON without an explicit request to turn it on in the Linux source build (we can include it in the binaries), but that raises some other UX questions. cc @jonkeane -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
