@zhztheplayer can you take a look at #13830 and let me know your thoughts? In particular, that PR puts the slicing information into `FileFragment` while this one puts the information into `FileSource`. At the moment I think `FileFragment` might be more usable and also similar to the pyarrow function that splits a dataset into more fragments (multiple fragments per file) using row groups. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
