@assignUser this is still very WIP but I'm working through what's needed to 'release' ADBC. Right now the main difference is use of conventional commits to update the changelog. The tool used here, commitizen, can also bump versions (update changelog, update version numbers in files, commit, tag it) but it isn't quite flexible enough (it can't generate the version to bump everything to 'snapshot' afterwards).
