Adding those patches to #33722 I get test segfaults: https://github.com/apache/arrow/actions/runs/3961611391/jobs/6787262761#step:6:13839 Unless somebody who actually knows what LTO is and how it works thinks otherwise, I think it's best to wait until CRAN actually reports a problem here...they ignore *some* LTO failures and we won't know until the package is built in their environment whether or not those errors will actually show up.
