Hi @emkornfield, It seems like CI failure was due to [ARROW-10499](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-10499). I've rebased the PR onto newest master then the previous failure was gone, but there is still new ones which don't seem to be related to this PR (an error from flight_test.cc). So, if assuming CI passed is it a good time for a re-review? I think it would be good to see that the feature can be shown in the next major release so that if I can do anything to push this forward please kindly let me know.
