I am not aware of a more generic capability. As you say the C++ SDK exposes the arguments as getter/setter and the Python APIs as [additional arguments](https://boto3.amazonaws.com/v1/documentation/api/latest/reference/services/s3.html#S3.Client.list_objects_v2).
