@gopinathcs out of curiosity could you try manually removing [lines](https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion-python/blob/0.8.0/conda/environments/datafusion-dev.yaml#L41-43), changing [line](https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion-python/blob/0.8.0/conda/environments/datafusion-dev.yaml#L31) to `python>=3.8`, and recreating your conda environment?
