At the very least the "Datum" notion allows for the inclusion of a Selection
Vector at a later time -- perhaps like
```rust
pub trait Datum {
...
/// If there are certain rows that should be ignored by any kernels
/// Defaults to None (all rows)
fn selection(&self) -> Option<&BoolBuffer> { None }
}
```
